  • This is a 4 week course. Starting Wednesday 26 June @ 4.15pm. Lessons are 45 minutes per session.
  • Master Complex Word Spellings: Learn how to spell words from the National Curriculum Year Group vocabulary.
  • Harness Tailored Learning Styles: Discover auditory, visual, kinaesthetic, and cognitive strategies to suit diverse learning styles.
  • Ignite Metacognitive Awareness: Help your child identify their unique learning style for better problem-solving and empowered learning.
  • Conquer Unconventional Words: Teach your child to confidently handle words that don't follow typical phonetic patterns.

By the end of this course, your child will be equipped with a toolbox of effective strategies to master complex words. Students will know their individual learning style and develop their metacognitive skills.
Time: Mondays @ 5.30pm - Next course starts Monday 8th January. Can't make Mondays - email your interest so we can accommodate.

*If a student is unable to make a session in person, a recording of the lesson will be provided. It will be available for 7 days.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education.
  • Master’s Degree in Special Educational Needs 
  • Post Graduate Diplomas in both dyslexia and also dyscalculia (Level 7)
  • Enhanced DBS checked.
  • None during the lesson.
  • Parents are asked to print the homework, memory resources and organise any materials required.
  • Read through the homework instructions, if required. Check understanding of task.
  • All homework activities are independent. A self-check is provided so students can check their work when appropriate.
  • Spellings are differentiated. Select appropriate word lists for your child to practise the spellings.
  • Test your child on the spellings each week. Some students may need help with evaluation tasks.
  • A minimum of 2 students must be enrolled for the course to run. If only one student has enrolled in this course, the parent has the option to change to a different course or to take the course on the next date available. Courses run half-termly.
  • A maximum of 6 students can be enrolled on this course.
