We believe in empowering your child with a growth mindset and arming them with memory strategies that are seamlessly woven into our teaching. At DD Focus, we set the bar high for all our learners, nurturing metacognition – that profound understanding of how we learn – and fostering a positive attitude towards education. Witnessing our students bask in the glow of success, and watching their confidence and self-esteem soar, is our ultimate joy.

Our courses are meticulously designed to cater to the specific needs of students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). Each course is a carefully structured journey, with every cognitive weakness receiving the attention it deserves. We employ quality first teaching techniques and ensure ample opportunities for over-learning.

Our approach is truly multi-sensory, and we introduce interactive features that will have your child eagerly looking forward to each session. We don't just teach; we instill metacognitive awareness, making sure that your child can apply these newfound skills in their regular classrooms.

Growth mindset and memory-boosting strategies are seamlessly blended into our teaching and learning methods. We understand that a positive mindset is the key to progress, and we are dedicated to supporting memory to make learning unforgettable.

For parents, we provide in-depth insights into our lesson content and the skills being cultivated. This information can be readily shared with your child's class teachers, allowing for close monitoring of the new skills being acquired.

We assess our students through engaging methods like questioning, homework, and quizzes. At the end of each course, parents receive invaluable feedback direct from teh teacher, and students are awarded certificates and collect badges as tokens of their remarkable achievements.

“The day I received the confirmation that my daughter had dyslexia was a very sad one. Not because she had learning difficulties but for the thought of the struggles and the constant hard work she was going to endure for the rest of her life.
As parents you wish your children will have a comfortable life and enjoy every minute of it. I couldn’t help myself thinking that this will not be the case for her. But I was wrong, I was very wrong. Melanie started working with K not long after the news, and the first thing she did was to reassure my husband and I as well as K that with consistency and willingness things will improve in a short time. And off we embarked into a program that entails daily short homework, fun strategies that helps with her memory levels but most importantly confidence building. We saw results within weeks, K was happy to try, to fail and keep trying, she was at ease with her dyslexia and being able to work through the emotions and frustrations and keep working…and she was only 7 years old!!
After 18months of working with Melanie we all know now that the progress K has is due to the key strategies she puts in place with K as well as the constant work we do from home and the support from her school. K loves going to school and learning, at her own pace and with her own limitations, but she is a happy girl above it all and now I know for sure that she will thrive in life.”
