Meet the instructor
Melanie Smith
Melanie is a qualified primary school teacher, SENCo, dyslexia and dyscalculia specialist with almost 30 years teaching experience. She is passionate about building student confidence using growth mindset techniques as students make great progress when they are feeling confident. Melanie completed a Masters in SEN with a focus on memory difficulties so memory strategies are embedded into learning. This results in improved retention and outstanding progress. Melanie has assessed and worked with hundreds of students with specific learning difficulties so she knows what works. This experience is invaluable in helping students reach their full potential.
